Attique ur Rehman is Assistant Professor of operations and supply chain management at Suleman Dawood School of Business, Lahore University of Management Sciences since 2022. His teaching and research areas of interest include supply chain management, strategic decision making, and creativity in supply chain and supply chain risk management. He teaches courses of operations management, decision analysis, supply chain management, and logistics management at undergraduate, master and PhD level.
He has contributed significantly to advancing knowledge and understanding related to supply chain risk and risk management issues in organizations and has frequently published in the world’s most prestigious journals his field such as Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, and International Journal of Logistics Management. He has edited a special issue in Technological Forecasting and Social Change (TFSC), an ABDC ‘A’ ranked journal. He presents his research papers at renowned research conferences such as Decision Sciences Institute (DSI), Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) and European Operations Management Association (EUROMA). Recently he has been appointed as program director of MS Supply Chain and Retail Management. He has a teaching experience of 14 years in public sector Universities prior to joining LUMS.
