Mr. Ahsan Umar did his MBA from Punjab University with two Gold Medals in marketing specialisation in 1996. He has 25 years of rich & diverse corporate experience in industries such as food & beverages, oil & gas, automobiles, wholesale & retailing, textiles and information technology.  He worked with many companies including Haleeb Foods, Nestle Pakistan, Total Parco, Indus Motor Company, Metro Cash & Carry, Service Sales Corporation, Crescent Textile Mills and Infinit Connections. During his corporate career he has worked extensively in the field of brand management, sales & distribution, dealer & sales force management, retailing & store operations, e-commerce, supply chain management and manufacturing.

Mr. Ahsan has attended numerous management development programs including Management Development Program at LUMS in 2007 and Retail Leadership Excellence Program from Harvard Business School in 2010. He did his MS in Supply Chain Management from University of Management and Technology, Lahore in 2015 and Executive MBA program from LUMS in 2017 with distinction and Gold Medal.

Mr. Ahsan is an expert in the field of Retail and Supply Chain Strategy with focus on food, consumer durables and fashion industry. His area of special interest is research in strategy & leadership development for retail and supply chain domains in Pakistani firms.
