Dr. Mohsin Bashir is an Associate Professor (with tenure) at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). His research spans public and nonprofit management, and organizational behavior and theory with an emphasis on power and politics. His work has appeared in leading journals including Organization Studies, Governance, and Public Management Review, alongside numerous peer-reviewed teaching cases published through the LUMS Case Research Center.

He holds a PhD in Public Administration and Policy from Arizona State University as a Fulbright Scholar, an MBA from LUMS, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NU). He was trained in the case method through Harvard Business School's Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning.

Dr. Bashir teaches across undergraduate, graduate, and executive education programs, covering organizational power and politics, conflict management, and public leadership and performance management, and provides career and professional coaching for executives. His consulting and advisory work spans organizational effectiveness, monitoring and evaluation, and public sector reform, for clients including the World Bank, USAID, PwC UK, and federal and provincial government organizations in Pakistan, along with numerous other business and nonprofit organizations. 

Dr. Bashir is an Editorial Board Member of Public Administration and Development. He serves on the advisory boards and committees of universities, government entities, and nonprofit organizations.
