Join us as we explore what it means to belong to a place as layered, chaotic, and beautiful as Pakistan.
Home #itscomplicated, a creative non-fiction anthology curated by author and alumna Saba Karim Khan (BSc 2006), explores this question through the voices of 24 distinguished contributors. Scientists, academics, actors, bankers, economists, filmmakers, and homemakers share deeply personal accounts of their messy, moving, and meaningful relationships with home.
The panel conversation will feature Saba alongside contributing authors Dr. Ali Khan (Dean, MGSHSS), Awais Khan (Author), and Omar Shahid Hamid (Author). Together, they will reflect on the multiplicity of belonging, identity, and lived experience in Pakistan, sharing stories that resist simple categorisation.
The discussion will be moderated by Khurram Koraishy and followed by an audience Q&A, giving you the opportunity to engage directly with the authors. The book will also be available for purchase at the event. To register for the event, please click here.
We look forward to seeing you there!
