This year’s edition is organised in partnership with the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD) and IZA/FCDO Gender, Growth and Labor Markets in Low-Income Countries Programme (G²LM|LIC).
The year's conference will combine academic and policy-focused days, featuring sessions on how labor markets, financial systems, social infrastructure, and governance influence economic outcomes in the developing world, with a focus on gender, social norms, and political institutions in South Asia. A plenary address will be delivered by Imran Rasul (University College London, BREAD/IZA).
The conference is organised in collaboration with the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA) and the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD) and the Path2Dev consortium partners: CERP, Institute of Development & Economic Alternatives (IDEAS), Chaudhry Nazar Muhammad Department of Economics (CNM) and Mahbub ul Haq Research Centre (MHRC) at LUMS, Institute of Development Studies (IDS), Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR), and the International Growth Centre (IGC).
